Families across City of Moreton Bay are set for a major event highlight, with global children’s favourites PAW Patrol announced as the headline act for the free Moreton Kids Festival 2026.
The free community event will take over Pine Rivers Park, Strathpine, on Sunday, 14 June 2026, with thousands expected to attend for a full day of entertainment, activities and interactive experiences running from 8 am to 3 pm.
Families can look forward to a paws-itively exciting day out, with two live PAW Patrol stage shows at 11 am and 1:40 pm.
Ten families will also have the chance to win a PAW Patrol meet-and-greet experience, with entries available through the official event e-newsletter.

Free entry to Moreton Kids Festival this year
City of Moreton Bay Mayor Peter Flannery said Moreton Kids Festival is a much-loved fixture on the City’s events calendar and this year the event would be free.
“Moreton Kids Festival is one of our most popular free events, bringing families together for a day of fun, imagination and connection,” Mayor Flannery said.
“Having PAW Patrol headline the 2026 festival is a fantastic way to create a memorable experience for children and families from across our City.
“We know many households are feeling cost-of-living pressures, which is why free, high-quality community events like this are so important.
“Moreton Kids Festival ensures every child has the opportunity to enjoy a big day out close to home.”
Moreton Kids Festival celebrates community, creativity and childhood play, and reflects City of Moreton Bay’s commitment to delivering accessible, free events that support vibrant, family-friendly communities.
Across five themed worlds of discovery, families can explore a range of entertainment and hands-on experiences designed for children of all ages.
The Tiny Tots area at Moreton Kids Festival
Moreton Kids Festival 2026 highlights include:
- Hide and Sea – A real Aquatic Adventure – An interactive marine experience where children can explore sea stars, crabs, cowries and sea urchins up close.
- Junior Tradies – A construction-themed experience where children can dress in hi-vis gear, try bricklaying and operate mini diggers in a safe, hands-on environment. Coming to Queensland for the first time.
- Channel 9’s TheatreDome – A live interactive performance space featuring improv games and challenges, where children take part in team-based activities led by professional performers known as The Oracles.
