Brisbane City Council is bringing back the much-anticipated $2 Summer Dips this summer! From December 1 to February 28, an adult entry fee will be reduced from $6.65 to $2.
Brisbane City Council announced the return of $2 Summer Dips in this year’s budget as part of a package of cost-of-living initatives to take pressure off household budgets.
The $2 entry fee, which will apply to adults and children, will be unlimited, meaning residents can go as often as they want. The $2 entry fee will also apply on public holidays for all Brisbane Council pools.
This means the cost of taking a family of four will fall to $8 from up to $20.30. A family who goes to their local pool six times throughout the summer will save up to $73.80.
Anyone accompanying a person with a disability who requires attendant care support will continue to get free entry.
Brisbane Council has 22 pools across the city. For more information or to find your closest Council pool, visit the Brisbane City Council website.
