Brisbane Writers Festival (BWF) returns bigger and better in 2024 with a program of plot twists and page-turners from 30 May to 2 June.
The 2024 Festival is an unmissable adventure from beginning to end, with over 150 live events, including author talks, panel discussions, special events and workshops.
What’s on at Brisbane Writers Festival for kids
The 2024 program includes plenty of fun activities for the kids! These include Word Play, BWF’s program celebrating reading, writing and storytelling for students from Prep to Year 12, returning from 30 to 31 May, and a special Family morning Sunday program.
Special events for families with children aged 5–12 are also held on the Sunday morning including a nature-based story time with Megan Daley and a workshop with Trent Jamieson and Brent Wilson on how to bring a captivating story to life through a book.
