Little Rugby encompasses the skills seen in Rugby Union, Rugby League, Touch Rugby and Tag Rugby.
In a safe, non-contact environment children learn these Rugby skills along with developmental skills such as listening, sharing, taking turns and teamwork. Other skills such as catch and pass, hand/eye co-ordination, kicking, evasive running, scoring tries, kicking conversions and teamwork are also focused on. Little Rugby is a great first introduction to sport for your child and is perfect for any girls or boys aged 2 to 7 years.
The Little Rugby programme is based on the hugely successful Little Kickers programme that provides a safe, pressure free, non-contact introduction to sports skills, applicable to not only Rugby but any sport. This programme gives children a positive relationship with sport and encourages a healthy and active life.
Little Rugby coaches have been selected and trained to deliver high energy classes and a network of coaching directors across the globe work together to provide the best quality lesson plans and coaching skills. Coaches are trained to not only control but also motivate a class of kids to listen and participate whilst working as a team.
