Imagine a place where every corner, every colour and every carefully chosen material invites children to explore, create, feel at ease, and learn—all in an environment that’s as inspiring as it is nurturing. With 20 sites now serving families across Queensland and New South Wales, Harmony Early Education is expanding its unique approach, bringing a sense of calm and wonder to the years that define early childhood.
Having recently opened two new facilities in Griffin and Burleigh Heads, the business has a growing network of centres and an extensive acquisition schedule, offering more families access to its unique, child-first approach.
Harmony Managing Director Gabrielle Giufre says everything they do is intentional and informed, designed to create harmony across environments, educators and education.
“We understand the profound responsibility and impact involved in shaping young lives and put children at the heart of everything we do,” says Ms Giufre.
Harmony Early Education: A holistic approach to early learning
Harmony’s learning approach is clear: embrace a holistic approach to each child’s early learning and development.
“We take the best from educational philosophy and evidence-based design to create studios that support, protect, and grow,” says Ms Giufre. “Finely tuned to the needs of children, we provide comfort and confidence through consistency, nurturing a curiosity for learning that leads to potential.”
Even mealtimes are part of Harmony’s holistic approach. Fresh, seasonal menus are carefully curated every two weeks and prepared on-site each day. By collaborating with medical and pediatric nutrition experts, Harmony’s meals align with Nutrition Australia’s national guidelines, ensuring that every bite supports healthy growth and development.
“Every detail at Harmony is part of a larger story—one of nurturing individuality, inclusivity, and imagination,” says Ms Giufre. “Each child is considered a confident and capable member of our learning community, and we embrace the unique and understand the power of celebrating individuals.”
The environment as the third educator
Known for its stunning, thoughtfully designed spaces, Harmony Early Education recognises the environment as the ‘third educator’ and provides engaging indoor and outdoor spaces that enable children to participate in different types of play, investigation, and real-life experiences.
“The core of Harmony is to create beautifully rich aesthetic environments to support children’s learning and evoke wellbeing in a harmonious space,” says Ms Giufre.
Harmony Early Education also places high importance on safety and convenience for families. Each centre has state-of-the-art safety and security systems, giving parents peace of mind from drop off to pick up. Off-street car parking at all locations makes it easy for families to access the centre safely, ensuring arrivals and departures are smooth and secure.
One of the best ways for your child to discover the Harmony difference is through a Stay and Play experience. This relaxed and fun event allows parents and children to get a feel for the space before starting care. During these sessions, parents are invited to visit an early learning centre with their children for a play experience where they can explore and interact with educators and other young learners.
