2-Day Fun and Empowering Wellbeing Workshop for Girls 8-11yo

School is OUT for summer!! Summer Holidays are great for our kids but it can be tricky for us parents to keep them occupied. If, like Carole at Bonjour Wellness, you tend to look for activities that are fun but also support your child’s physical, mental and/or emotional wellbeing, then the Standing Strong program is for you 🙂

Standing Strong is a multi-award winning child wellbeing organisation, providing uplifting and empowering life-skills and health programs for young people aged 5-18yrs. The Standing Strong programs are designed to help children and families feel connected, supported, valued and heard. They help build young people’s confidence, self esteem and resilience. Each Standing Strong session and workshop incorporates Movement for a Strong Body, Mindset activities for a Strong Mind and Mindfulness for a Strong Heart.

This 2-day January Workshop is open to Girls 8-11yo and will include:

• Group discussions and opportunities to share, connect and learn tools and life skills prior to returning to school.

Day 1: Friendships
Making friends, dealing with friendship changes, being your own BFF, cyber friends safety.

Day 2: Well-being
Interactive presentation on the power of nutritious food by Storm Law, a qualified dietician at Empowered Health Dietetics (Buderim), self love and self care.

• Physical and recreational group and individual activities including games, strength and agility circuits, yoga and stretches.
• Relaxation and breath practice.
• Take away booklet including tips, affirmations, colouring, mindset activities and family questions.
