Big City Lights Festival

Big City Lights is back over three weekends (Friday–Sunday) this Winter.
Big City Lights is a new festival of urban and digital design, digital culture, music and light taking place in the heart of Southport CBD.
The cutting-edge self-guided program will feature immersive audio-visual experiences, large-scale digital works, 3D-mapping and unexpected projection sites that will transform the Gold Coast’s everyday urban spaces.
Building facades and laneways in the city’s CBD will be transformed into hypnotic and technicolour displays by leading local and national artists working in the fields of light, installation, architecture, and digital design, complimented with live performances.
Big City Lights will also feature live music and performances in venues and at outdoor sites across the Southport CBD, adding to the appeal of the FREE, family- friendly festival to a wide demographic of locals and drive-market visitors.
