The best of Asian culture and cuisine will be back on full display this year as BrisAsia Festival returns for the Year of the Snake.
Now in its 13th year, there will be 25 unmissable events and activities across 12 suburbs between Friday 31 January and Sunday 9 February, including Lunar New Year celebrations on Saturday 1 February.
To mark the start of the ten-day BrisAsia festival the Story Bridge, Victoria Bridge and the new Kangaroo Point Bridge will be lit pink, blue and red.
This year’s line-up brings several new attractions including the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, new workshops for musicians, DJs and producers at Milton, and a special Luna New Year light up in the Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens.
Some of the most popular BrisAsia events will return this year including Lush on Fish Lane – Asian Street Festival, Sunnybank Lunar New Year Rooftop Party, and Southside by Night.
Most events are free but some require tickets.
