Catch the Australian premiere of Fijian Flying Circus, where soaring acrobatics, daring stunts and joyful storytelling come together in a spectacular island adventure. Join Australia’s favourite kids’ comedians The Listies for This Show is a Joke!, or discover magical new worlds with Betsy Balloon and the Very Great Terrible Flood and the visually stunning Dead as a Dodo.
There are plenty of free experiences to enjoy too, including Family Fun Day supported by Brisbane Airport at Verso Projects, Festival Village, South Bank, the interactive Giant Sing Along, hands-on puppet making at The Pop-Up Sock Puppet Studio and Dead Puppet Society’s Puppet Construction Workshop, plus community celebrations including Pasifika Made, Living Sculptures: How the Birds Got Their Colours, St Lucia Block Party and Moorooka Block Party.
If you’re for your little one’s first Festival experience, Dance with Tom, Tui n Friends and Aunty Sharron offer playful, interactive performances designed especially for toddlers and young children.
