Broadbeach Beats returns 8 August 2026 with a free, family-friendly celebration of the Gold Coast’s creative community.
For one day, Victoria Avenue transforms into a living, breathing creative village, where the sound of live music drifts between market stalls, artists work in the open, and every corner of the mall offers something new to discover.
Emerging musicians and community performance groups take to the stage throughout the day alongside a curated market of handmade ceramics, jewellery, textiles, prints, candles, and slow-made fashion. Painters and illustrators work live. Photographers share their prints. Boutique labels and independent designers tell the stories behind what they make, and record labels, zine sellers, and instrument makers set up shop beside them.
There’s plenty for the youngest visitors too, with free kids’ activities to keep the little ones happy while the rest of the family wanders, listens, and takes it all in. Grab a bite, find a spot in the sun, and settle in for an afternoon that feels less like an event and more like a community coming together.
