Clancestry returns from 30 July to 9 August in a program of First Nations arts and culture at QPAC.
An iconic event part of QPAC’s calendar since 2013, Clancestry is a celebration of identity and connection, providing a platform for both established and emerging First Nations artists to share their stories, perspectives, and talents.
Saturday 3 August is all about kids at Clancestry. Big and little kids alike will enjoy all that’s on offer as part Clancestry for Kids. Filled with fun and free activities, there will be plenty to keep little ones engaged while they explore their curiosity and creativity.
Learn to weave at Clancestry!
Using recycled materials, participants will learn how to twist and weave together different textures, working through different weaving techniques, while sharing in the storytelling of First Nations ancestors. You’ll also get to take home your very own woven masterpiece.
No bookings required.
