This school holidays, SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast invites families to get closer to our different shark species and learn how they help keep our marine environment balanced and thriving.
From Grey Nurse Shark to Black Tip Reef Shark, every encounter is a chance to understand how life in the ocean is connected.
Highlights:
🦈 Walk through the ocean tunnel, watch sharks swim overhead, and explore how these incredible animals interact with other marine life. Along the way, uncover fun facts, hands-on learning moments, and ways we can all help protect the ocean we depend on.
🦈 Kids will receive a FREE Discover Sharklife activity booklet on arrival and can take part in a number of interactive activities as they venture below the surface to get up close with Grey Nurse, Grey Reef and Wobbegong sharks, and many more aquatic creatures!
🦈 Kids can learn more about sharks from shark experts and enjoy the FREE animal themed origami at their activity zone daily 10:30 – 1:30 from 27 June to 12 July 2026.
🦈 [upgraded experience] Shark Dive Xtreme experience: Visitors aged 14+ can take their jawsome day out to the next level, by venturing into the water for the exhilarating Shark Dive Xtreme experience. The cageless diving adventure is available to people with zero diving experience and guarantees an underwater encounter with sharks!
🦈 [upgraded experience] Shark Dive VR Experience: Prefer something a little less wet? Hop on the VR Experience as you follow the search for an underwater strip called Tiger Beach where huge tiger sharks can be found. This video is a close up experience of tiger sharks in their natural habitat, far from the influence of humans.
