School Holiday Fun! Workshops and FREE Drop-in Sessions with Flipside Circus.

Roll Up! Roll Up! Join Flipside Circus’ circus workshops and have fun, test yourself, and learn a lot of new skills.

Whether it’s tackling the trapeze or harnessing the hula-hoop, Flipside Circus’ workshops make school holidays even more fun.

No matter what your child’s skill level is, Flipside Circus trainers will help them learn new circus skills and give them a chance to show off.

Beginners Workshop: 1pm –2.30pm | Age: 6 – 12 years | $30
The Beginners workshop is a great class for kids trying circus for the first time. These classes are fast-moving and full of action. A mix of games and circus skills brings a nice balance of hard work, fun, and fitness. Explore a full range of circus skills like trapeze, tumbling drills, acrobalance, mini-trampoline, juggling, hula hoop, spinning plates, devil sticks, and poi.

Intermediate Workshop: 2.45pm–4.45pm | Age: 12 – 16 years | $45
The Intermediate workshop is perfect for kids who already have some experience in circus, dance, or gymnastics and want to take their skills to the next level. These classes are energetic and engaging, combining games with more advanced circus techniques to build strength, confidence, and creativity. Participants will explore a wide range of circus skills including trapeze, tumbling drills, acrobalance, mini-trampoline, juggling, hula hoop, spinning plates, devil sticks, and poi—with an emphasis on refining foundations and learning exciting new tricks.

Dates: Thu 15 & Sat 17 January (before the 360 Allstars evening performances)
Location: RPAC Events Hall
Duration: 45 minutes

You can also enjoy FREE drop-in circus sessions with Flipside Circus. These fun sessions give you the chance to come and try your hand at basic ground-based circus skills, including hula hoops, juggling, poi spinning and more. Bring your parents, grandparents or carers with you and join in for as long as you like and master some cool tricks and skills.
