MIXFM’s Give Me 5

For 26 years, Give Me 5 has united the Sunshine Coast community to make a real difference in the lives of local sick kids and their families.

Presented by 92.7 MIX FM and supporting Wishlist, the Sunshine Coast Hospital Foundation, Give Me 5 is a year-long fundraising initiative held primarily in June but also throughout the year, raising vital funds for life-changing medical equipment, patient support services, research, and family care programs across Sunshine Coast public hospitals.

What began as a simple call for locals to donate $5 has grown into one of the region’s most loved and successful community fundraising campaigns, raising millions of dollars to support healthcare close to home.

This year’s plan features a packed calendar of community events, fundraisers, auctions, challenges, and on-air initiatives, giving everyone the opportunity to get involved. From charity golf days and business events to family-friendly fundraisers and community activations, every dollar raised stays local and helps fund services that make a genuine difference to patients and their families.

Funds raised through Give Me 5 help support projects including the Children’s Ward, Clown Doctors, patient and family support programs, medical research, and initiatives that improve the hospital experience for thousands of Sunshine Coast families each year.

At its heart, Give Me 5 is about neighbours helping neighbours. It’s a celebration of community spirit, generosity, and the belief that together we can change local lives.
