Nana Magic’s Deadly Adventures
Nana Magic’s Deadly Adventures is a vibrant and engaging children’s performance created by acclaimed First Nations artist Uraine Roelofs.
A proud Kokatha Mirning and Greek woman from Ceduna on South Australia’s Far West Coast, Uraine is an accomplished performer, producer, director, and writer with a strong background in theatre. Alongside presenting her own creative works, she collaborates on a range of community theatre projects that celebrate storytelling, culture, and connection.
Through the enchanting world of Nana Magic, young audiences are invited on a journey that highlights the importance of caring for Country, protecting native wildlife and waterways, and looking after one another. Blending storytelling, culture, and creativity, the performance encourages children and families to connect with the environment and the values of respect, responsibility, and community.
Join them during the September school holidays for a special performance of Nana Magic’s Deadly Adventures on the Queen Street Mall Main Stage, from 12 noon to 1pm on Wednesday 23 September.
