Park Play Free kids activities this April

Embark on an exciting and educational journey at Park Play, a FREE kids program nestled in the heart of Victoria Park.
This Autumn school holidays, dive into the wonders of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) with a dynamic blend of fun and learning. Park Play’s specially curated activities and workshops will captivate young minds, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and a love for exploration.
Held on 1-3 and 8-10 April 2024 from 9am-1pm each day, children will engage in hands-on experiments, discover the magic of robotics, and unleash their inner scientists through interactive STEM activities. The experienced educators ensure a safe and stimulating environment, where every child can thrive and discover the joy of learning.
Join Park Play at Victoria Park for a holiday filled with laughter, curiosity, and unforgettable STEM adventures.
Bookings are not required – simply show up on the day and join the fun.
All ages are welcome though activities are best enjoyed by kids aged 3-12 years old.
Brisbane’s Biggest Easter Weekend at Victoria Park will overlap with Park Play on Monday 1 April, bringing even more kids activities to Victoria Park.
MONDAY 1 APRIL
Kids Gym – Unlock the fun at our Kinetic Energy Gym! Kids bounce, jump, and roll their way to adventure while learning the science of motion. Let’s get moving!
Moving Parts – Get creative with our moving parts craft! Kids design, build, and explore the fascinating world of movement, sparking curiosity and unleashing their inner inventors.
TUESDAY 2 APRIL
Make a Robot – Let’s build some bots! Using arts and crafts, kids can unleash their imagination and engineer their own robotic masterpiece.
Mad Scientists – Join our mad scientists for explosive fun! Make your own rocket and watch it soar – don’t miss the blast-off!
WEDNESDAY 3 APRIL
Building Blocks – Unleash creativity with building blocks! Kids construct, learn, and explore the built world. Inspire young architects and engineers while having endless fun. Building dreams one block at a time.
Kinetic Energy – Construct your own rubber band helicopter and watch it soar! Unleash creativity and discover science through hands-on excitement.
MONDAY 8 APRIL
Mad Scientists – Join our mad scientists for explosive fun! Make your own rocket and watch it soar – don’t miss the blast-off!
