parkwalk for Daniel
On Saturday 31 October, parkrun across the country will turn red as volunteers, runners and walkers of all ages come together to help keep kids safe.
For 21 years, the Daniel Morcombe Foundation has walked together for Daniel on the Sunshine Coast. This year, in a brand-new collaboration with parkrun Australia, the annual walk goes national.
parkwalk for Daniel will honour and elevate the ongoing work of the Daniel Morcombe Foundation. Communities across the country are encouraged to wear red and take part.
The event follows the largest ever Day For Daniel on Friday 30 October, which will see more than 9,000 schools, early learning centres, workplaces and community groups across the country put child personal safety at the forefront.
