Planes, Trains and Autos presents Fully Charged

The hallmark event of this year’s festival is the newly titled ‘Planes, Trains and Autos presents Fully Charged’. It will take place on Saturday, May 4th at the Queensland Museum Rail Workshops. This year’s event promises to be bolder than ever, featuring incredible aerobatic displays and exhilarating ground exhibits that will allow attendees to get up close and personal with some exceptional displays. Come and see the sky come alive at this amazing event!
This year, the attendees of the event can enjoy some exciting new attractions, including radio-controlled model aircraft, racing drones, remote control cars, and V8 cars. Along with these new additions, the event will also feature some crowd favourites such as the Royal Australian Defence Force Machinery, Brisbane Airport Information Centre, and Superkarts. This family-friendly event promises to offer an entertaining and engaging experience for everyone.
The kids will be thrilled exploring the Rail Workshops enjoying the Nippers Railway adventure playground, Sciencentre and chill zone for sensory needs. Interacting with the emergency services vehicles are always a big hit too! To complete your experience, you can even grab a ticket for a 30-minute vintage diesel-hauled train ride with Queensland Pioneer Steam Railway.
Tickets start at $5 for children, with family passes from $20, and are available online from 10am AEST, Thursday 21 March HERE
This festival is much more than this one-day iconic event, the fun sprawls city wide across the entire weekend. With a variety of events including train rides on model live steam trains, Park and Pose in the heart of the CBD and Queensland Retro Picnic and car displays. Also, the opportunity for a scenic drive to Woodlands of Marburg for a Coffee and Cars event. Make a weekend of it and immerse yourself in all that Planes, Trains and Autos has to offer.
