Plastic Free Sea Festival

This July the Sunny Coast community is invited to come together for a vibrant and impactful beach clean up event in celebration of Plastic Free July. Combining environmental action with family-friendly entertainment, the event promises a morning of conservation, education and connection by the sea.
Locals of all ages are encouraged to pull up their sleeves and take part in a hands-on beach clean up, directly helping to protect our coastline and marine life from plastic pollution. Beyond the clean up the event will transform into a chilled gathering featuring live music from local muso Adam James, free activities and plenty of opportunties to get involved.
A highlight of the event will be a curated selection of eco stalls, showcasing plastic free and environmentally conscious products. From resuable household items to sustainable fashion and lifestyle goods, the market stalls will offer practical ways for attendees to reduce their environmental footprint.
The community driven initiative is proudly brought to you by Visionary Ocean Warriors, a youth led group passionate about protecting our oceans and inspiring change. The event is supported by Sunshine Coast Council and Tangaroa Blue, with SEA FM joining as media partners to help amplify the message and encourage increased participation.
Whether you are passionate about the environment, looking to kick start your Plastic Free July, or keen for a free fun family outing, the Plastic Free July Festival offers something for everyone.
