Pre-Prep Play Dates at Mountain Creek State School
Mountain Creek State School is excited to welcome children who will be commencing Prep in 2027 to their Pre-Prep Play Dates.
These sessions provide children with a welcoming and enjoyable introduction to school life. Each week, children will have opportunities to explore their future school environment, meet members of the Prep team and begin building friendships with other children who may be starting school alongside them.
Through a variety of engaging, play-based activities, children will develop confidence, independence and familiarity with school routines. Sessions may include stories, songs, craft, puzzles, games and hands-on experiences that support early literacy, numeracy, communication and fine motor development.
Mountain Creek’s Pre-Prep Play Dates are designed to nurture children’s natural curiosity while helping them feel safe, connected and excited about beginning their school journey. They also provide families with opportunities to become more familiar with Mountain Creek State School and connect with their welcoming school community.
They look forward to meeting future Prep students and sharing the excitement as they prepare for a wonderful start to school in 2027.
