Queensland Garden Show
The Queensland Garden Show returns in 2026, bringing three full days of colour, creativity and outdoor fun to the Nambour Showgrounds.
Held from 10–12 July, in the charming Sunshine Coast hinterland town of Nambour, this vibrant event is perfect for families who love getting hands‑on with nature and exploring the outdoors.
Kids can enjoy the dedicated Just for Kids zone, while parents wander through dozens of nurseries, discover new plants, and pick up tips from over 70 free talks, demos and workshops across 4 stages led by some of Australia’s top gardening and lifestyle experts
There’s plenty to see, learn and do together – from kitchen garden inspiration to floral design displays and the Living Backyard experience where you can find all the information needed to create a wildlife friendly backyard.
The GROW Kitchen Garden is all about making sustainable living feel exciting, achievable and genuinely rewarding, whether you’re dreaming of a thriving veggie patch, curious about permaculture or just keen to learn a few greener habits for home. Expect cooking demos, expert advice, sustainable gardening tips and plenty of practical ideas you can take straight back to your own backyard.
From beautiful breeds to perfectly presented eggs, the Poultry Spectacular is set to impress once again. This year, the much‑loved Rooster Crowing Competition also makes its triumphant return to the Queensland Garden Show. Whether you’ve got a prize‑worthy crow or simply enjoy a bit of old‑fashioned fun, this crowd favourite is back and ready to ruffle a few feathers.
