Saltwater Heart Family Day
Join HOTA for the opening day celebrations for their new Children’s Gallery exhibition Aka Sorbie: Saltwater Heart by local artist Lisa Sorbie Martin. Lisa will be onsite to share with children and their adults about the art, stories and Torres Strait culture woven into this immersive and interactive exhibition.
Participants will have the opportunity to hear Lisa tell stories, engage in a making workshop, and sample foods important to Lisa’s Torres Strait culture.
