Shorebird Festival
Join Sunshine Coast Council for live music, art and family-friendly activities to welcome hundreds of migratory shorebirds back to our coastline.
They’ve just completed one of nature’s most remarkable journeys.
They are celebrating with one weekend packed with two fun-filled events:
🪶 Saturday 26 September at Fraser Park, Golden Beach
🪽 Sunday 27 September at Cotton Tree Park, Maroochydore (pool end)
Enjoy face painting, arts and clay craft, shorebird exhibits, a Welcome to Country with didgeridoo and storytelling from Kerry Neill, live music from Hayden Hack and Adam James, wildlife information, research freebies, education stalls, charity sausage sizzle and more.
