Sink your teeth into Summer of Sharks at SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast. A Jaw’some adventure awaits!

SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast Aquarium is inviting ocean enthusiasts to discover Summer of Sharks, a deep dive into the ocean’s most majestic and mysterious marine creatures.

From 26 December to 26 January, guests can embark on a jaw’some activity trail, designed to teach young explorers about different shark species. The trail offers engaging checkpoints throughout the aquarium where interesting facts about each type of shark can be uncovered.

SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast’s expert aquarists will be on hand at the artefact table sharing fascinating facts about the various shark species that swim above the aquarium’s iconic 80-meter-long Ocean Tunnel, highlighting unique behaviours, diets, and how the team cares for these apex predators.

SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast’s Summer of Sharks is a unique opportunity for guests to learn and be inspired by these incredible ocean creatures, highlighting the crucial role sharks play in maintaining ocean health. Through engaging activities and close encounters with the aquarium’s resident sharks, guests of all ages will leave with a deeper understanding of the ocean’s ecosystem and the importance of protecting these extraordinary animals.

Shark Dive Xtreme, the Sunshine Coast’s only cage-less diving experience, guarantees an underwater encounter with enormous sharks and rays and the Behind the Scenes Tour offers an exclusive opportunity for guests to view the Ocean Tunnel and the resident sharks from above.
