Summer on the Lake
Free sailing, live music, street food and summer vibes by the water as Summer on the Lake 2026 returns to the Gold Coast on Sunday 25 January 2026
Hosted by Southport Yacht Club at Oxenford Water sports Centre, this FREE family-friendly waterfront festival will welcome 800+ locals and visitors for a full day of relaxed summer fun, running from 9:00am to 6:00pm.
The event captures everything we love about a Gold Coast summer, including:
Free sailing experiences and stand-up paddleboarding
Live DJ and laid-back lakeside atmosphere
Kids activities, including a jumping castle
Food trucks serving all-day eats
A pop-up bar for adults to enjoy by the water
