SunCon Pop Culture Convention
The Sunshine Coast’s very own Pop Culture event! SUNCON 2026 (Sunshine Coast Pop Culture Convention) welcomes you to a day of Celebrity Guests, Cosplay Competitions, Trivia, Tournaments, QnA’s and heaps of stalls for all fans of all pop culture!
Their guests include stars from Star Wars, The Hobbit, The Matrix, Mad Max & Marvel franchises.
Grab a photo with a celebrity, a signature or listen to them tell behind the scenes stories from the films in a QnA hosted by M.C Mr. Peter Budd!
Kids cosplay competition is open to 12 and under, free entry and kids will be battling for the Loot Box, a crate filled with awesome toys and collectables! Wargame Warehouse is also hosting a miniature painting competition, bring your completed armies for evaluation.
Padawaan Playground: There will be a designated area for the tiny tots with face painting, colouring and a drawing competition drawn at 3pm on the main stage!
