The Sustainable BNE Festival (formerly Green Heart Fair) is Brisbane’s premier sustainable living event, designed to inspire and empower residents to live more sustainably—all while having fun!
This free, family-friendly festival takes place annually at Roma Street Parkland and showcases the latest in eco-living, conservation, and community action.
The festival brings together Brisbane’s leading sustainability organisations, local artisans, community groups, food vendors, conservationists, and eco experts, all in one vibrant space. Attendees can explore hands-on workshops, informative talks, sustainable market stalls, and a full day of live entertainment – including the Bluey Live Interactive Experience – kids’ activities, and delicious food.
Whether you’re a green thumb, a curious beginner, or just looking for a great day out, the Sustainable BNE Festival is your go-to event for practical, fun, and inspiring ways to live more sustainably in Brisbane.
What’s on for Kids
Alongside Bluey live on stage, this year’s event features an Eco Kids’ Zone with free, eco-friendly activities like nature-inspired crafts, lawn games, face painting, and more. Little Green Thumbs will also be running gardening-based activities for kids – a great day out for curious little ones and families.
