The Thrive Youth Festival is an exciting celebration dedicated to honouring the vibrant youth of Noosa Shire. This collaborative initiative by Noosa Council and the Pomona & District Community House, aims to highlight the resilience and unique talents of the area’s young individuals.
Commencing in the morning, the festival kicks off with a dynamic line-up of activities designed to invigorate participants. Live music will resonate across the lawn, complemented by a DJ spinning tunes at the skatepark. From morning movements to yoga, meditation, breathwork, and boxing, there’s something to engage every attendee.
Set against the backdrop of the Pomona Community House grounds, the event offers a diverse array of attractions. Attendees can immerse themselves in arts and crafts workshops, learn from pro skateboarders from Chiggy’s skateboarding, and participate in a special clothing workshop led by Cindy Vogels.
Closing the day festivities is the Pomona Palooza Musicians Showcase, featuring talented local bands and musicians. With professional sound and lighting and industry professionals. As an added benefit, mental health professionals and representatives from the Noosa Council resilience and disaster team will be on hand to provide valuable information and support.
With its blend of entertainment, community engagement, and resource provision, the Thrive Youth Festival promises to be an exceptional festival, fostering resilience and camaraderie among Noosa’s youth.
