Under 8s day celebrations at Mountain Creek State School

Under 8s week is a Queensland based annual event that celebrates the first eight years of children’s lives and encourages learning through play.
The theme for Under 8s week in 2024 is ‘Connecting to Culture through play’. This is an exciting theme as it highlights the ability of play to break down barriers and bring children together, as well as helping children to understand more about themselves and each other.
Mountain Creek State School will host a fun filled morning. Join in on the fun with traditional Gubbi Gubbi games, American baseball, Chinese Dragon dancing, STEM activities with Rise and Shine Education, Alliance Francaise and a performance by Renata with Cultural Storytelling.
Mountain Creek State School accepts out of catchment enrolments.
