Welcome Back the Shorebirds Festival

Celebrate the return of our migratory shorebirds – including Bar-tailed godwits who fly non-stop from Alaska to Australia.
Eastern curlews, Bar-tailed godwits and other shorebirds feeding on the Toondah mudflats will be viewable with assistance from Wader Study Group members. Koala spotting walks will be conducted by the Koala Action Group.
“Beako” the large Shorebird puppet will be making an appearance.
