AFL Queensland is the state body that is responsible for the growth and development of Australian Football throughout the state. In 2022, registered participation numbers reached an all-time high of more than 58,000 people playing across the state, driven mainly by increases in school introductory programs and the exponential growth in female participation across all key segments.
In 2023, AFL Queensland aims to continue to grow footy in Queensland and has outlined a number of top priorities for the year.
There are so many ways to get started in playing AFL. Have a look at AFL Queensland’s website to find a program that suits you.
