4 reasons we love the Kids Collective school holiday program
Kids Collective has to be one of our favourite activities for kids in Brisbane. Here’s why:
- Its free! Yes. Totally free.
- It has a relaxed, drop-in vibe. Thanks to easing COVID-19 restrictions, the sessions are back to being drop-in rather than allotted times slots. Hooray! Bookings are still required, but once you’ve scored your spot you can come at anytime during that morning. We love this, as we all know how hard it is to be on time when the kids are involved.
- The inclusive range of activities. We find the activities are perfect for those with either several kids to entertain, or kids that just need to do something different. It’s an opportunity for kids to try soccer, craft, circus tricks and gardening. There’s no pressure, no expectation to do ‘well’, just lots of fun things to share and do.
- The location. Roma Street Parkland is gorgeous and it’s the ideal destination for kids that need to get out of the house. Once there, take advantage of playground, throw down a rug for a picnic, or just enjoy being outdoors in the fresh air.
