Elanora Library reopens with a fresh look and family fun day

Elanora Library has unveiled its vibrant new look, and the local community is invited to celebrate with a family fun day!

After a recent refresh, the library is now brighter, more accessible, and packed with thoughtful upgrades designed to make your visit more enjoyable.

Visitors will notice a brand-new layout featuring extra seating, a cosy reading lounge, and expanded areas just for kids. Collections have also been reorganised to make browsing easier, and new Tap & Go payment options have been introduced for printing and photocopying – a welcome time-saver.

‘Genrification’ at Elanora Library

One of the most exciting changes is the introduction of ‘genrefication’ across select collections. Books in Adult Fiction, Adult Non-Fiction, and Junior Non-Fiction are now arranged by genre or subject, making it easier for readers to find books that match their interests. Whether you’re into thrillers, wellbeing, science, or history, discovering your next great read has never been simpler.
