Challenge yourself this winter with the Kokoda Challenge

Looking for the ultimate challenge? The Kokoda Challenge is Australia’s toughest team endurance event, and there are three happening in southeast Queensland this year.

Enter your school teams to build resilience, comradery and teamwork from ages 9+. Join the hundreds of school teams competing for the School Cup while you pay tribute to the sacrifices of the Diggers who fought in the 1942 Kokoda Campaign. This is more than a personal challenge – it’s an opportunity to give back to your community. The funds raised support Kokoda Youth Foundation.

About Kokoda Youth Foundation

The Kokoda Youth Foundation is a locally operated charity that has proudly supported Australian young people by inspiring them to do extraordinary things for 20 years.

The experiential youth programs help young people gain physical and mental resilience, confidence, and instill in them the values of Courage, Endurance, Mateship and Sacrifice through the story of the Kokoda Campaign in 1942. These values take their origin from Australian soldiers who fought the Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea during WWII.
