Free school holiday fun at the best parks in Brisbane

Families can swap screen time for sunshine these school holidays, with more than 2,100 parks across Brisbane ready to explore. From picnics and playdates to bike rides, dog walks, water play and outdoor adventures, Brisbane’s parks offer something for every kind of day out.

“Now more than ever, families are looking for ways to have fun and save during the school holidays,” said Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner .

“With more than 2,100 parks and playgrounds across our suburbs, there’s always somewhere free to relax, play and spend time together.”

“Our parks are part of why Brisbane was recently named the world’s most family-friendly city.”

“With a run of sunny autumn days ahead, there’s no better excuse to get outdoors and enjoy everything our parks have to offer.”
