New family friendly pizza pasta bar rolls into Cooly

No need to cook tonight! Because eating out with the kids is now deliciously easier with the recent opening of family friendly pizza pasta bar – Little Cooly.

Perfectly perched on Level One of The Strand at Coolangatta, Little Cooly has a laid-back vibe that ensures everyone feels welcome. And with enviable views of Coolangatta Beach, this beachfront pizza pasta bar has quickly become our fave go-to with the little ones!

From handmade pasta to hand-stretched pizza, the affordable all day dining menu shines a light on local produce and brings together texture and taste in a true ‘Cooly’ way.

Restaurant Manager Rob Brierley says it is the venue’s location and distinctive local twist that makes it a standout on the scene.

“In an ode to the local area, dining dishes have been named after Gold Coast icons and suburbs and shine a light on local produce including Tweed River prawns and Bangalow bacon.”

The family friendly pizza pasta bar showcases the creativity of the area, utilising talented local illustrator Barry Patenaude to create bespoke murals that are splashed across the walls, inside and out.

“We are excited to bring a fun, new experience to locals and visitors through creative collaborations with local artists, produce and suppliers,” said Rob.

Little Nippers are well catered for, with fun activity packs and a yummy kids menu. Of course, kids are welcome to eat ‘big kid’ food too, with lots of family-friendly sharing options available. But the all-time favourite would have to be the desserts, with sweet ice-cream sundaes piled high with a kaleidoscope of crazy concoctions including caramel popcorn, lime jelly, Kit Kats and fruit tingles—brain freeze alert!

As Easter approaches, Little Cooly will also create a special limited edition Easter Super Sundae choc’ full of chocolate treats your little ones will love.

And let’s not forget the parents!

Accompanying the bevy of bites is a seriously savvy and affordable wine selection, with more than 100 bottles ranging from local drops to Italian varietals, stored in a temperature-controlled wine fridge.

Feeling a little fancy?

Choose from the creative cocktail menu stacked with signature sips, spritzes and Cooly classics… Cooly Colada anyone?

Of course, no day at the beach is complete without cracking a coldie and settling in for the ultimate seaside session with a bunch of brews, including their own Little Cooly Dry and Little Cooly Ginger Cider.

No matter which way you slice it, Little Cooly is making a splash in this seaside suburb and will be a hit with families near and far.
