Courtney, a seasoned spa professional and mother of three, created the Time Out Lounge to cater to the needs of busy parents and caregivers. Inspired by her own experiences, Courtney understands the challenges of balancing family life and self-care.
Before embracing the beautiful but challenging role of mother to two little ones under two and stepmother to a spirited nine-year-old, Courtney dedicated her career to working in and managing five-star luxury spas.
“This experience allowed me to deeply appreciate the importance of self-care—a luxury that often feels unattainable for busy parents/caregivers,” said Courtney.
“Parenthood is a transformative journey, and I’ve experienced the often unspoken struggles of readjusting to a new identity. This journey has taught me that while motherhood is incredibly rewarding, it can also be challenging. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to create a sanctuary where fellow parents/caregivers can reclaim some much-needed self-care without the weight of guilt.”
The Time Out Lounge offers a range of guilt-free treatments while children enjoy supervised play at HYPT. The spa’s luxurious skincare products, typically found in high-end spas and first-class airlines, provide the ultimate pampering experience.
“At the Time Out Lounge, we offer rejuvenating treatments while your little ones are lovingly cared for—absolutely free of charge—because I understand that every cent counts in family life,” Courtney said. ” I am also incredibly proud to feature a unique skincare range tailored for mothers, mums-to-be, and all skin concerns.”

Treatments include massage and facial packages, brows, teeth whitening and teen facials.
HYPT, the ultimate kids’ venue on the Sunshine Coast, offers a wide range of activities for children of all ages, including themed parties, messy play, music classes, school holiday workshops, and a braiding bar. They run a great school holiday program too!
