Start with a coffee (and a doughnut)

The infamous Kenilworth Coastal Bakery has landed at The Wharf and is everything you have dreamed about and more. Specialising in artisan doughnuts, pastries and coffee, the bakery’s open-style kitchen gives kids a glimpse of how these delights are created. This is a takeaway-only venue, so grab your goods and take a stroll along the river.

A morning of underwater adventures for kids

Spend the morning journeying from the coast to the ocean depths at SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast Aquarium and get up close to over 10,000 creatures, including the Sunshine Coast’s only colony of little blue penguins. Meet rare weedy sea dragons, the famous resident seals and over 20 species of sharks and rays.

Be among the first to experience Seahorse Kingdom, a captivating new exhibit to be unveiled just in time for the school holidays. Home to more than 100 seahorses and multiple interactive points, this world-class, Atlantis-themed exhibit will be one of the largest seahorse exhibits in Australia and will offer guests the rare opportunity to explore the mysterious and mesmerising world of seahorses and sea dragons.

SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast is home to many unique experiences to really top off your summer. Swim with the resident seals, meet the little blue penguins up close on an in-water penguin encounter or book a behind-the-scenes tour to get an exclusive look into what happens at the aquarium behind closed doors.
