Giant Ferris Wheel returns to Sunshine Coast this winter

Sunshine Coast residents and visitors will feel like they’re on top of the world when Australia’s tallest travelling Ferris Wheel is welcomed back to Caloundra this week.

The Skyline Attractions Ferris Wheel returns to the Sunshine Coast for the first time in three years. It will be based at Kings Beach Water Fountain, next to the surf club.

The towering structure’s 35-metre-high peak will provide spectacular 360-degree views of Caloundra and the hinterland’s mountains for 10 weeks, from May 10 to July 21.

With 24 gondolas that can seat up to 144 people and more than 9000 lights, it’s set to be a memorable experience for family, friends, groups or a special date!

Jane Jones said her team at Skyline Attractions was thrilled to return to Caloundra.

“We are excited to be opening on the Sunshine Coast once again and create a buzz around town for locals and visitors,” Ms Jones said.

“Working with all the lovely business owners in Caloundra was a highlight of our stay last time. We certainly hope to build on these relationships to celebrate and showcase the town from a different perspective.”
