Liverpool FC Academy kicks off first Brisbane partnership with St James College

St James College, Brisbane, is excited to announce a new partnership with Liverpool Football Club International Academy Australia (LFC IA).

This partnership will see St James College become the first home of the Liverpool FC International Academy in Brisbane, creating a unique pathway for young players to train and play The Liverpool Way while being part of Jimmies Spirit – where every student is valued, supported, and encouraged to achieve their aspirations.

Fuelled by a shared passion for excellence, inclusivity, and global learning, this collaboration marks a milestone in football at St James College. Students will access professional coaching aligned with Liverpool FC’s world-class curriculum, while also benefiting from the College’s holistic focus on academic growth, wellbeing, and community – building on a proud tradition of Jimmies Spirit that has shaped generations of students before them.

St James College Principal Andrée Rice said the partnership aligns perfectly with the College’s vision for its students.

“At St James, our vision is to nurture confident young people who can achieve their dreams, on the field and in life. Partnering with Liverpool FC International Academy Australia brings a world-class football experience to Brisbane’s inner city – aligning with our college commitment to Global Learning, Achieving Aspirations and living out Jimmies Spirit, as so many before us have done,” Principal Rice said.

LFC International Academy Australia General Manager Rob Davey said there are similar values shared between the two organisations.

“This is an exciting collaboration between Liverpool FC International Academy Australia and St James College. We share similar values as well as a strong desire to integrate a world-leading football program into the College.

Students are empowered to strive towards achieving their dreams and aspirations and we are confident that this partnership with St James College aligns with our core values and mission.

We look forward to welcoming St James College to the LFC International Academy family,” Davey added.
