The Banana Bender Pub has welcomed a fresh new addition to the Sunshine Coast’s casual dining scene with the official opening of Burger and Pizza Co. today.
Local industry and tourism representatives gathered at the new venue on Downunder Drive, Palmview to be among the first to savour signature burgers and handcrafted pizzas made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
The event featured internationally recognised chef Youssef Ben Touati performing live pizza acrobatics, ensuring a spectacular start to this exciting new venture.
Banana Bender Pub General Manager, Jenny Howell said Burger and Pizza Co. was committed to celebrating Sunshine Coast’s rich local produce, partnering with trusted growers and producers to deliver honest food with unreal flavour.
“We’re thrilled to unveil Burger and Pizza Co. as the newest addition to the Banana Bender Pub family,” Jenny said.
“Our aim is to create a space where everyone can come together and enjoy quality food in a relaxed setting.
“Supporting local suppliers is at the heart of what we do. It’s about giving back to the community and showcasing the incredible flavours the Sunshine Coast has to offer. “

Locally sourced menu
From crisp vegetables and premium meats to vibrant sauces and toppings, every item on the menu is crafted with care.
Sourdough pizza bases are naturally fermented for 48 hours, resulting in pizzas that are light and full of character, while burgers are built from scratch, stacked with premium ingredients and maximum flavour.
