New HUUUGE Indoor Play Centre to Open in Redcliffe

Brisbane parents, get ready for a new family fun destination – there is a new indoor play centre coming to Redcliffe!

Area 51, known for its massive indoor play centre in Brisbane’s southside, is expanding north. The company is set to open a new location in Redcliffe early 2025.

The new centre will be located at 82-98 Anzac Ave, taking over the space previously occupied by the IGA. While it won’t be as large as the Underwood location (which is a whopping 8000sqm), the 1000sqm Redcliffe site is still expected to offer plenty of fun for kids of all ages.

Michael Affleck, Operations Manager for Area 51, said the Redcliffe indoor play centre will provide a great space for families to gather, relax, and let their kids burn off some energy. “It will offer the community a great hub to get together, have a coffee and let the kids have fun,” he said.

While specific details about the Redcliffe Centre’s attractions are still to be confirmed, it’s likely to feature a range of play equipment, including climbing structures, slides, and ball pits. The Underwood location boasts a huge range of exciting indoor play adventures, including climbing walls, trampoline parks, and ninja courses.

AND Area 51 has also just announced early works on a third indoor play centre, this time in Bundama, Ipswich.

So, mark your calendars, Moreton Bay parents! Area 51 Redcliffe is set to open in February 2025, offering a new and exciting indoor play centre for your family.
