Immanuel Lutheran College announces new Principal for 2024

Immanuel Lutheran College, a leading independent school on the Sunshine Coast, is excited to announce the appointment of a new Principal, Eloise Beveridge, who will take up the position in January 2024. This announcement comes after the esteemed Mr Colin Minke accepted the role of Executive Director at Lutheran Education Victoria, New South Wales, and Tasmania (LEVNT).

With over 20 years of leadership experience in Lutheran education across three states, Eloise brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to fostering community and connection within our schools.

In her own words, Eloise expressed her enthusiasm for joining Immanuel Lutheran College, saying, “My passion is creating community and connection in our Lutheran schools. I believe our young people are in their school years at an exciting time. Our communities and our world need amazing, confident young people with a heart to serve, a skillset that can take them to any corner of the world, and a desire to be lifelong learners.”

She also highlighted her passion for innovation and empowering learning communities to excel, and she looks forward to returning to Southeast Queensland, her home state, after spending recent years in Victoria.

“We are thrilled to welcome Eloise as our new Principal,” said Matt Webster, Chair of Immanuel Lutheran College Council. “Her leadership and vision align perfectly with our mission of nurturing the ‘whole child,’ and we are confident that she will guide Immanuel into a bright and exciting future.”

Immanuel Lutheran College expresses heartfelt thanks to Mr Colin Minke for his outstanding leadership over the last eight years, during which he oversaw transformative developments on the campus, including the redevelopment of the primary school and significant works in the senior school and broader campus.

As 2023 progresses, Immanuel Lutheran College eagerly anticipates the arrival of Eloise in 2024, and the entire school community looks forward to an inspiring future under her leadership.
