Meet Wilbur, the irresistible young pig determined to escape the butcher’s block; Fern, the girl who can understand the secret conversations of animals; Templeton, the gluttonous rat who can occasionally be persuaded to help, and, at the center of it all, Charlotte, the extraordinary spider who proves herself “a true friend and a good writer.” When Wilbur’s life is in danger, Charlotte hatches a brilliant plan. With the miraculous messages she spins into her web, she sets off a chain of events that transforms not only Wilbur’s fate, but the hearts of everyone who sees her work.
