Your own private plane with costs covered for 12 months AND for a good cause? Here’s how…

Owning a private plane is the stuff of fantasies and millionaires, right? Well, this fundraiser is thinking outside the box, giving everyday peeps the chance to own a private plane. Plus all costs are covered for the first 12 months. The aim is to raise much-needed funds and awareness for the incredible work Angel Flight and other aviation-focused charities do.

What is Angel Flight?

Angel Flight is a charity which coordinates non-emergency flights to assist people living in rural and remote areas to access specialist medical treatment that would otherwise be unavailable to them because of vast distance and high travel costs.

Funded by private donations, all flights with Angel Flight are free and assist passengers travelling to or from medical facilities almost anywhere in Australia. Angel Flight has many volunteer pilots who are not medically trained and do not carry aero-medical staff or medical equipment, which means they are not an alternative to the Royal Flying Doctor Service or Air Ambulance.

The Angel Flight volunteer pilots donate their time, skills and the majority of their aircraft costs for each flight. The charity relies on support from individuals, clubs and service clubs, large and small companies, and bequests.

“All flights are free and may involve travel to medical facilities anywhere in Australia. This is solely funded by generous donations by our supporters and industry partners, and we are excited to be supporting Your Jet Life’s campaign to bring visibility to General Aviation and the needs this industry supports, but also raise much needed donations via the Your Jet Life Art Union Lottery to support Angel Flights growth and impact,” says Marjorie Pagani, Chief Executive Officer / Director of Angel Flights.
