Looking to get the kids into the Easter spirit WITHOUT eating mountains of chocolate? These simple Easter games for kids are a great way to get egg-cited about the holidays without the impending sugar load.
Our favourite (and super-easy!) Easter games for kids
Egg Roll
Set up a course using obstacles such as empty kitchen roll tubes, cones, or cardboard boxes. Kids roll plastic eggs through the course using brooms.
Easter Egg Bowling
Decorate 9 empty toilet roll tubes as carrots. Stand them up like bowling pins. Scrunch up a piece of tin foil to make a ball, then use this to knock over the carrots.
Bunny Hop Race
An easy one! Set up a start line and a finish line. Kids crouch down at the starting line and hop like a bunny to the finish line.
Egg & Spoon Race
Each player gets a spoon and a plastic egg or ping bong ball. Kids race to the finish line while balancing the egg on their spoon. Drop the egg and go back to the start!
Pin the Tail on the Bunny
Similar to Pin the Tail on the Donkey, blindfolded players try to place a cotton ball “tail” on a poster of a bunny.
Easter Bingo
Create bingo cards with Easter-themed images and play a game of bingo with family or friends.
Bunny Ears Ring Toss
Use bunny ear headbands as targets for a ring toss game.
Easter Charades
Act out Easter-related words and phrases for others to guess.
Easter Egg Memory Game
Hide pairs of plastic eggs filled with treats or small toys, and players take turns trying to find matching pairs.
Egg Relay Race
Divide players into teams and have them race to pass a plastic egg down a line using only spoons held in their mouths.
