There will be entertainment, food and community stalls, and a unique rainforest walk with observation trail. Entry price is $10, children under 12 years old are free. Explore your creative side

Ceramics for Kids Workshops

Talking of creative workshops, does your little one fancy turning their creativity to pottery? This Sunday, August 21 is the first of a series of three kids beginner ceramics workshops. Held at ArtWorkshops in Montville, kids will be guided through the basic steps. They’ll create hand-thrown pieces with the help of an expert ceramicist. They will learn about the process of wheel throwing and how to make their own unique noodle bowl, cups, lidded containers and more. You never know, it could just uncover a love for ceramics!

Embrace storytime

Perfect for the babes and toddlers, Sunshine Coast Libraries will be holding a special storytime session in Landsborough on Tuesday, August 23. There will be games, stories and lots of fun. Bring a hat, morning tea, lots of friends and a blanket to sit on.
