Families across Queensland are being invited to enjoy a series of free family activities when a major display village opens its doors in Morayfield this February.
The Kinma Valley Display Village will officially open with three community open days on Saturdays 7, 14 and 21 February, offering families the chance to explore display homes while enjoying live entertainment, children’s activities and free entry events.
Running from 10 am to 1 pm each Saturday, the February events are designed as relaxed, family-friendly outings, with activities including kids’ entertainment, competitions and food options alongside the opportunity to walk through a wide range of new homes. The events provide an easy weekend option for parents looking for free family activities that also get everyone out and about together.
Located at 1 Morinda Circuit, Morayfield, the completed display village features 34 homes from 17 different builders, making it the largest collection of display homes in the Moreton Bay region. The homes range from compact single-storey designs through to larger double-storey family homes, allowing visitors to compare layouts, sizes and features side by side in one location.

For families considering building or simply curious about modern home design, the village showcases practical features such as flexible living spaces, open-plan kitchens, kids’ retreat areas, media rooms and indoor-outdoor alfresco zones. Many of the homes have also been designed to meet seven-star energy efficiency standards under the National Construction Code, reflecting growing interest in sustainable and cost-efficient living.
While the February opening events add an extra layer of fun, the display village is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm, giving families plenty of opportunities to visit outside the event dates as well. The location is easily accessible for families across Moreton Bay and surrounding areas, making it a convenient outing option during the school term.
With live entertainment, activities for children and free entry across all three Saturdays, the Kinma Valley opening offers another option for free family activities in Queensland this February, whether families are actively house-hunting or simply looking for something different to do on the weekend.
