We’ve put together a list of fun playgroups and weekly activities to keep both you and your little one entertained.

Appleberry School Readiness Program
Located in beautiful Moffat Beach, their home-based learning sessions help children aged 3 to 5 build the skills they need for a confident start to school (Weekly – Morning session: 9am – 11am: Afternoon session: 12pm – 2pm).
Baringa Community Centre Fun Friday Playgroup
An unstructured playgroup for all pre-school aged children and their Mums, Dads, Grandparents and Carers. (Friday during the school term)
Baringa Community Centre Mums, Bumps & Bubs
A space for expectant mums and mums with new babies aged 0-18 months to connect and enjoy some sensory play with their babies. (Wednesday)
Caloundra Community Centre Playgroup
A free playgroup for kids aged 0 – 5 y old. Imaginative outdoor play with a space for parents to connect. (Monday)
Crafty Kids at The Ginger Factory
Little artists can join The Ginger Factory every Tuesday for fun, hands-on craft activities, perfect for keeping tiny hands busy and imaginations running wild!
Fairhill Gardens Animal Farmyard Morning Adventures, Ninderry
Join Fairhill Gardens this summer for their new Animal Farmyard Morning Adventures! Running Thursday to Monday with Tours at 9.30am, 10.30am & 11.30am — perfect for all adventurers! (Until 30 March 2026)
Giggles Playgroup Wombye
Located at Suncoast Church, Giggles Playgroup provides a great variety of pre-school experiences like arts, crafts and stories that you can enjoy with your child. (Tuesday & Thursday during the school term)
Good Groove Collective Buderim
A dance collective fostering community, connection and FUN! Inclusive sessions for women of all ages and mums and bubs, focused on movement, laughter, and finding your groove – on and off the dance floor. (Monday at Federal-Noosa Hinterland and Wednesday at Maroochydore during the school term)
Growing with Nature, Noosa Botanic Gardens
Growing with Nature is a play-based, experiential program for children aged 0–6, held in the beautiful surrounds of Noosa Botanic Gardens. (Wednesdays during Term 1)
The Holistic Playroom, Coolum
An intentional play space in Coolum Beach, created to support children’s emotional development through play, movement, and connection. For families with babies (0-12 months), toddlers and preschoolers. (Friday)
Lambs at Play Buderim
Meeting three mornings a week, Lambs at Play is a fun morning of play, craft, music and story time, and a place where mums and dads can come together, have a cuppa and get to know other parents in the community. (Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday during the school term)
Little Builder Play Sessions Kawana
Children aged 0-5 can build, stack, and explore using LEGO® Duplo, magnetic tiles, soft foam farm animals, and classic bricks & blocks. (Mondays in February and March).
Little Explorers Playgroup, Buderim
Families are invited to connect and relax in a supportive setting while children learn through play, discovery, and connection with nature (Wednesday and Thursday during the school term).
Little Farmers Playgroup
Located just outside of Yandina, Little Farmers Playgroup is a fun morning on the farm. Enjoy a morning playing outside, hanging out with the animals and being free to be a kid! (Monday, Wednesday & Sunday).
Little Geckos Playgroup Mountain Creek
Little Geckos are a friendly and relaxed group of children, Mums, Dads, Grandparents and carers who meet weekly. (Tuesdays during the school term)
Little Springers Community Playgroup Peregian Springs
Participate in age-appropriate play-based activities, including obstacle courses, catching and throwing, painting, art and craft, nature-based play, singing, dancing, storytime and fine-motor tasks at these fun sessions (Thursdays during the school term)
Mainly Music Noosaville
Located at Noosa Coolum Salvos in Noosaville, Mainly Music is a fun music and movement group for under-school-aged children to enjoy with their parents, carers and grandparents. (Wednesdays during the school term)
Mum Hub x Elate Mum’s Group & Open Play Sessions, Corbould Park
Mum Hub x Elate is a play cafe and mums groups space in Corbould Park, designed specifically for mums and their little ones. Sparking connection through open play, uplifting mums groups, laughter-filled learning, and hands on workshops and events.
Music2Grow Buderim & Cooroy
Music classes at Music2Grow are hands-on, interactive, intentional time with your child – a place to play, learn and grow together. Each age-appropriate class (for ages newborn – 7 years) immerses your child in rhythm, songs, rhymes, instrument play, and movement activities. (Mondays, Tuesdays & Fridays during the school term)
Namba Community Playgroup
Located in Nambour, this playgroup combines lots of fun for families with sensory play, gardening, cooking, nature play and more plus parenting support. (Thursday)
Nambour Aquatic Centre Aqua Playgroup
Nambour Aquatic Centre’s Splish Splash Aqua Playgroup is a non-structured session designed to cater for infants attending with their parents/guardians or appropriate adults carers. (Friday)
Noosa Anglican Playgroup Tewantin
Noosa Anglican Playgroup provides a safe space for fun play (both inside and outside) with singing and activities. A great way for caregivers to build connections and create new friendships. (Thursdays)
Noosa Aquatic Centre Baby Splash
A free introductory water familiarisation class aimed at parent/infant bonding, comfort in the water, social interaction and sensory exploration. (Tuesday & Wednesday during the school term)
Noosa Civic Tuesday Playday
Enjoy free fun for your little ones every Tuesday at 9:30am. Discover new and exciting activities every week at the Kid’s Mornings located near the play space.
Noosa Leisure Centre Kids Playroom
The Kids’ Playroom is open for casual play sessions for pre-school aged children every day of the week. Let them climb, jump, swing, bounce and balance in an air-conditioned, safe environment while you relax with a coffee from the café.
Noosa Libraries Stories & Rhymes
Stories, rhymes and songs for children under 5 designed to encourage children’s language development and listening skills in a friendly and relaxed environment (Held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the school term).
Our Backyard Playgroup Cooroibah
Each week, you are invited to join Sunshine Butterflies at ‘Our Backyard,’ their expansive 15-acre space, where children can engage in play on their Adventure Playground, interact with their farm animals, and enjoy socialising in a safe and secure environment. (Tuesdays and Thursdays during the school term).
Playgroup @ Meridan
Meridan State College offers a free playgroup for all Under 5’s every Friday morning during school term. (Friday)
Splash Time
These free sensory-based classes are designed for babies up to 4 months old as an introduction to the pool in a fun and nurturing environment. (First week of every month. Various locations)
Stories & Rhymes @ Sunshine Coast Libraries
Regular Storytime and Rhymetime sessions to help your child discover the magical world of books and reading and develop pre-literacy and language skills (Sessions are held during the school term only).
Storytime at The Ginger Factory
Snuggle in and join The Ginger Factory for magical, sweet stories, playful rhymes, and moments of wonder (Tuesday).
Tiny Art, Caloundra
Join It’s All Chaos for Bad Craft Club Tiny Art sessions – a place for messy makers, accidental masterpieces, shared skills, recycled treasures, colour chaos and lots of laughs. (Weekly during the school term on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9.30-10.00am)
Tiny Tots at Aussie World
Tiny Tots Thursdays at Aussie World offers a tailored theme park experience with entertainment and fun for families featuring activities specifically designed for toddlers.
Women Who Mum
Located in Nambour, Women Who Mum provides a welcoming weekly space to take time to bond with your bub and hear from other mums in a relaxed space. (Tuesday)
YMCA Caloundra Gym Play
Children walking to 5 years can bounce, jump, crawl, climb and swing to their little hearts content with you by their side during their GymPlay sessions. (Wednesday & Friday)
Zumbini
Located in Noosa and Sunshine Beach, Zumbini is an early childhood music and movement program for children aged 0-5 years and their caregivers. (Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the school term).
