NAIDOC Week mural unveiled at Tweed City

To coincide with NAIDOC Week 2022, Tweed City has unveiled a stunning new mural in centre. Created by very talented and proud Bundjalung Artist + Graphic Designer Christine Slabb, the a beautiful mural represents the northern rivers and its people.

Christine Slabb has been been creating and designing for over 20 years. Her concepts share her life’s movements through space and time. Whether it is the patterns left by a stingray after a high tide or the markings of an insect left behind in the bark of a tree.

Through Art + Design Christine is able to capture the beauty and lessons of the world around us. And this mural is a wonderful way to mark NAIDOC week.
